Title: Standing in Grace, Rejoicing in Hope

Scripture: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” — Romans 5:1–2 (NIV)

Devotional Message:

As you step into this Sunday, let the truth of Romans 5:1–2 fill your heart: you are justified, you have peace with God, and you now stand in grace. This is not based on your perfection or performance—it is a gift that came through faith in Jesus Christ.

You are not striving for God’s acceptance; you already have it. You are not working to earn peace; it’s already been secured. And because of this grace, you can rejoice in the hope of His glory—even in the face of challenges.

Today, as you worship and fellowship with others, let this truth settle deeply within you. You are at peace with God. You are rooted in grace. And your future is filled with the hope of His glory. This is the confidence we carry as believers—hope that doesn’t disappoint.

Am I standing confidently in the grace of God or striving in my own strength?

How does hope in God’s glory shape the way I live and face trials?

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for justifying me through faith and giving me peace with God. I stand today in Your grace, not in my own strength. Let the hope of Your glory fill my heart and guide my steps. Help me to rejoice even in the waiting, knowing that You are faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
